Proposed New Principals’ Leadership Agreement

The result of the ballot for a new Principal Leadership Agreement is now known.

Over 75% of voters supported the new agreement with more than 70% of eligible AEU members voting in the process.

Thank you to all members who took the time to not only participate in the ballot, but to also share your views and concerns along the way.

We will work with the Department to have the Agreement registered before the end of the year and keep you updated of this process.

Principals Leadership Agreement 2013

The AEU has a consultative committee for School Leader members who meet as needed to discuss Union matters affecting principals.

The committee has developed a set of leadership review principles and endorsed guidelines on the publishing of school data. Topics for discussion have included the Principals' Leadership Agreement, school classification, SDR funding arrangements and the draft transfer policy.

AEU members interested in joining the AEU Band 3 committee should contact Branch President Terry Polglase.
